The “La Pila” farmhouse is located in the Green Heart of Umbria, in Valnerina, inside the Nera River Park, 7 km from the Marmore Falls, in the splendid countryside around the medieval village of Ferentillo, an ideal place to stay in the peace of nature, far from the urban noise.
Our facility is composed of 11 rooms with 24 beds in total, some with a kitchenette equipped with all utensils.
In our restaurant you can taste typical Umbrian specialties, where taste meets tradition.
We cook using mainly ingredients of our own production, such as meat (veal, pork, poultry), vegetables, fruit, oil, eggs... Typical products
All the great specialties of Umbrian gastronomy, such as egg pasta, gnocchi and desserts... are rigorously prepared at home! And of course our genuine desserts, cakes, pies, jams are at your disposal for breakfast!
We also sell our organic products: oil, vegetables, eggs, etc.
You can admire the famous Marmore Falls (the highest in Europe!), the Piediluco Lake which is a few km away from us, and the wonderful artistic cities of all UMBRIA
Our farmhouse is located in an area where tourists can practice sports that only our incomparable territory allows, such as rafting , free climbing , and hiking trails. mountain bike , trekking , etc.
In Ferentillo, visits to the Museum of Mummies , the Museum of Peasant Civilization (Monterivoso), and the Abbey of San Pietro in Valle are particularly interesting.
